Shigar Valley in Gilgit Baltistan

The Shigar village is a valley in Gilgit Baltistan in north side of Pakistan that is sprinkle water over the Shigar River, and interest on the town of Shigar. The valley enlarge around 170 km from Skardu to Askole and is the entrance to the high heaps of the Karakoram. The town of Shigar is the biggest arrangement in valley. Despite the fact that the Shigar Valley is a remote and generally difficult to arrive at place, there are a few towns in the valley. Askole is the last settlement in the Shigar Valley, which is still a long way from the high mountains. Shigar was a regulatory sub-division of Skardu District that is currently a region in its own right. 


This Valley is a upward movement of the Indus River, which is close to the town of Skardu. It is a mainstream goal for climbing, trekking and mountaineering, regardless of the extreme conditions there. Additionally, the valley is a fascination for the vacationers as it is a door to Karakoram Hills, one of the world's most elevated pinnacles is K2.
